Cute Ellie!

So I know that we are REALLY far behind on updating this, but hopefully we can do that soon. In the meantime, I thought I would post a really cute pic of Ellie that our friend Sophia Hyde took last Thursday. We had wanted to do a 1 year photoshoot of Ellie, but with everything going on it ended up being a 14 1/2 month photo shoot! That's ok though, she's only gotten more beautiful! :)

Hannah on the Runway

Hannah's first runway experience caught on tape! One of the girls was missing, making it an odd number. Hannah is the last girl to come out. She had another video taken on one of their last runway shows and hopefully it wont be too big to upload, but all the ladies improved by the end of the premeir;)

Hannah's Hair Cut

Forgive the poor quality and the shortness, but you can get the idea:)

Feng Shui Beauty is what its all about;) I am the fire element!

Great hair colors! Awesome versatile cut!

Hannah Modeling!

Hey Everyone!
So this last week has been crazy! We signed Ellie up to model Tuesday night, and when we were there, one of the agents asked Hannah if she was available this weekend, 'cause they might be able to use her at a hair event. (They asked me too, but then they looked at what they needed for guys, and saw that they needed guys with graying hair, which I don't fit that quite yet...Not to mention, they might need someone who actually has some hair to work with!) Then Wednesday, Ellie broke her arm, so that was a crazy day! She doing great now, but I don't think she'll be modeling for a while! Hannah said sure to the modeling opportunity, and went to the casting call Friday night. She was one of 8 girls chosen by a guy named Billy Yamaguchi to be his model! (There were over 1000 girls there to apply to be chosen by different companies) He's a celebrity hair stylist from California, and has cut hair of people like Tony Robbins, Drew Barrymore, and Julia Roberts! Out of the 8 girls that he chose, Hannah was one of the girls whom he chose to cut her hair on stage for about an hour! She walked the runway today dressed in a Kimono at 11 and 11:50am, at 2 and 2:55pm and then again at 5 and 5:55pm. Tomorrow, they will walk the runway four more times! The event is Premiere Orlando International Beauty Event, with about 46,000 people attending! Billy is cutting and styling hair for a hair color company called 'Artease,' which is one of the exhibitors there.
So here's a pic of the hair cut and color that Hannah got, and a link to the event website.
We're excited! :) Pray for Hannah today and tomorrow, that she'll have fun and be safe! And keep Ellie in your prayers that she'll heal fast. (She's been doing great the last couple days, she's her old self... only with a Popeye arm! )
Love ya all!

Poor Ellie!! :(

So yesterday we had a long day…  I was at work when Hannah called and let me know that Ellie had learned how to climb… the bad part was she learned this during her afternoon nap on her crib, and fell out and landed on her arm.  Hannah took her to the ER, where I met her, and after x-rays, we could see her arm was broken.  It was the two bones in her forearm, about an inch above the end of the bones (both bones were broke).  The good part about where it broke, is that it doesn't affect the growth plates on the end of the bones, so she should heal fine.  Best as we can tell, she used some of the blankets, and stuffed animals, maybe the crib bumper to help boost her over the side.  So we've taken more precautions so this hopefully won't happen again.  I'm tempted to just get rid of the crib, and put her mattress on the floor, but I don't know how much sleep she would get if she could get up and crawl around. She was a trooper throughout the whole thing!  I got to the hospital about 5 min after Ellie was admitted and taken back, and the whole time I was there, she was barely crying.  It wasn't till the doctor started to examine the arm, and was rotating it that she started to fuss, but she never had an all out, ear piercing crying.  Half the time she was smiling and laughing, thankfully she wasn't trying to clap her hands!  So they put a splint on it, and she'll get a cast on it next Tuesday.  So her modeling days will be put on hold for right now, until she gets the cast off.  L  (For those that I hadn't let know yet, we signed her up for modeling Tuesday night, and she was going to be in a commercial on the 14th of June.  The cool part about that is that she was going to be making $500 for doing it, and the check would be made out to her, so we were going to be taking the money and putting it into a IRA for her.  We should still be able to do this, it might just have to be July instead.)

Anyway, praise the Lord it wasn't a lot worse than it was.  We're happy that she is expected to recover quickly and fully.  I'll update her blog as soon as we can, but thought I would send the e-mail to let you all know what was going on.  Love ya all!

Family Reunion 2010

Last week we had the wonderful opportunity to spend the whole week with my family. We rented two beach houses less than 1/2 mile apart where most of those who were able to attend stayed. The house that we stayed in was amazing! It had 6 bedrooms, and 4 bathrooms, a pool, a hot tub, and even came with two bicycles! In the house we stayed in we had my sister, Alenna, her husband, Dan, and there three kids, Aiden, Seth, and Cora. Also, my sister Alvana and her husband Dave. My Dad and his wife Gene. My brother, J, and his wife Lori. My Niece, Shelly (who's older than me) and her boyfriend Julian, and her brother Jonathan. So along with Hannah, Ellie and I, we had a full house, but lots of fun!
Sooooo..... here's some pictures!

This is off the porch...

The name of the place was Coastal Charm, and that it was!

This is all of us on the beach. The first couple days were pretty cold, but still loads of fun.

She's such a big girl! Can you believe she's over a year old!!

Biker Ellie! Yeah, she's gonna own a Harley!

The parking lot Friday...
Hannah's parents were able to come down Friday to spend the day with all of us. This was the first time since the wedding that most of my family had seen the Green's. The icing on the cake was that Dad brought down his Harley Deuce! Here a pic of Dad sitting on his bike in front, then Dave's Harley Deuce, the Cousin Dan's Harley Road King, followed by my Harley Heritage Softail in the way back. Great times riding!!

Ok, I better stop for tonight, I still have stuff to unpack! Hopefully this gave you all a taste of the fun time we had! Since I have about 1500 pictures to go through, there will be more!! (Yes, that was fifteen hundred!) Also, we have to post pictures from her birthday party that we had on May 15th! (The day after her birthday)
That's all for now... :)

This morning Ellie got the hang of her walker! Next step, she'll be walking on her own!

On Friday we had a blast going to Busch Gardens. We saw all sorts of cool animals and reptiles, and Mom and Dad had a great time on the roller coasters! (I of course had no idea where the cameras were on the rides... LOL :)

Kobe

Mom and Dad Green came into town Monday morning. This was a little bit of a surprise, since we thought they were coming in Monday night! No worries though, just more time we get to spend with them! :)

We all had a fun night out Thursday night going to the Japanese Stake house. They had amazing food!!

Ellie pulls herself up!

Ellie's pulling herself up!
It took her a little bit to figure out which leg was the strong one. She first did it when we weren't paying attention. (of course!) I asked Hannah, 'did you stand her up next to the couch?' So then of course, we had to grab the camera and see if she could do it again!

After she got it the first time, then she new how to do it and did it twice more in a row!
Great Job Ellie!!
