We went to visit Dad Crosby in NC last weekend and when we went out to dinner, Ellie ate, or rather sucked on my garnish: an orange and boy! did she think it was yummy!

Our Third Anniversary

For our third anniversary, our friends Lindsey and her husband Brandon, babysat for us while we went to a delicious dinner at the Cheesecake Factory and went to the theater to watch Julie & Julia - very cute and quite funny! I suprised Howie with a photo collage of Ellie pics, a card in his lunchbox, another card at dinner and a new watch during dessert. Howie surprised me with a gorgeous Swarovski crystal necklace - with a butterfly of course:) Apparently the tradition gift for the third anniversary is leather or crystal and Howie figured since we have all our leather motorcycle gear, he'd go for the crystal! he also got me the most thoughful anniversary card I have ever seen! It was a perfect day! I LOVE YOU, HOWIE!!!

Church Twins

At the church nursery on Sunday, little baby Ava, who was born a few short weeks after Ellie, came dressed almost exactly like her: jean jumpers, pink headbands, white socks, white printed onesie and pink courderoy mary janes:) Not to mention they both have a head full of dark brown hair! They looked adorable!

Ellie's Beach Day

While Angie was on her visit, we all decided to go to Anna Maria Island Beach. We didn't get there until late afternoon/early evening, but it proved to be a good thing because it was extremely hot and and it's better that we were not there during the heat of the day or else we all wouldn've been burned and dehydrated. Ellie loved the water and didn't seem to know what to think of the sand. She also tried sucking some fruit for the first time:)

Lexi's Party

Our great friend Lexi has been in Kuwait since December and she was able to be back in Florida for a week. She threw a BBQ/Pool Party so that all of her friends could come together and see her. We had a fun time - Angie came with us. We ate yummy steak fajitas and had a fun time seeing her again. She was able to finally meet and hold Ellie:) And Ellie got to go swimming for the first time! And for other firsts: Lexi rode a motorcycle - Howie's Harley! (and she survived;)
