Ellie's Balloon

Mommy and Daddy brought me back a balloon toy from their trip to Disney. They stopped at Bob Evans for breakfast on the way home and a young man was "twisting for tips", so Mommy asked the nice gentleman to make my a butterfly on a flower! It's pretty neat and I have fun playing with it!

Ellie's 6 Month Well Visit

We took Ellie to her six month well baby visit, although she wasn't 100% well. She has the sniffles and a cough. The Dr said a lot of that is going around and can typically last for two weeks, however I don't need to give her anything. Unless she seems to have trouble breathing and is wheezing etc. we don't have to worry. We opted to not get her shots today since her immunities were down with her cold. We are praying for wisdom in regard to her vaccinations becasue it is such a controversal subject. If we opt to get all 84 vaccines that the schedule calls for, we will do it on a delayed schedule and get as many of them seperated as possible (ie: the three-in-one shots can be given as three different one) I realize this would be more injections, but less chance of a reaction from multiple doses. She had a side affect/allergic reaction with her first round and I don't look forward to that happening again:(Any thoughts/opinions?

We take pride in being such involved parents! Howie always gets off of work early to be able to accompany me to Ellie's doctor visits! When the Doctor walked in, she said right away she could tell we both adored Eliana (we were doting over her at the table as you can see;)

Element BBQ

Sunday afternoon, Howie and I slept in and then drove from Orlando to Mom and Pop Nelsons to pick up Eliana. Since Element, our church had no service that morning, we were having a Thanksgiving BBQ and Bonfire that evening. We had a lot of fun, but didn't stay as long as we had wanted because Ellie had the sniffles really bad:( PS: it was cold that evening, it got down in the 40"s!!!

Ellie Loves Morris the Moose!

Krisann bought Ellie this adorable Moose when we were up in DE. It is one of Ellie's crib pals and now that she can really move and stretch and reach - she finds that she can play with the stuffed animal pals in the crib with her:)

Day 2 of Magic Kingdom

On Saturday we decided to go back to Magic Kingdom because there was so much that we didn't get to see and do. We rode Big Thunder Mountain Railroad (pic below), toured Tom Sawyer's Island, finally rode Space Mountain (it broke down the day before while we were in line), rode all the rides: It's a Small World, The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, Peter Pan's Flight, The Mad Hatter's Tea Party Tea Cups (watch video), and Snow White's Not So Haunted House. We witnessed the awesome fireworks at Cinderella's Castle again after the Spectra Magic Parade! (see other videos posted)

Spectra Magic Light Parade

Disney's Magic Kingdom

So, Friday was our second day at Disney and we decided to go to Magic Kingdom. We rode the Disney Ferry across the water to the actual park. We had a blast! We toured Minnie and Mickey's Houses, met them, rode Buzz Lightyear's Fight Against Emperor Zurg, watched a cute 3-D show, toured the Swiss Family Robinson's Tree House, witnessed Jack Sparrow give lessons on pirating and rode the Pirates of the Carribean Ride, floated on the Jungle tour, saw the lighting of Cinderella's castle with Christmas twinkle lights, watched the 'Celebrate You' parade that day and the 'Spectra Magic' light Parade that night! It was a fun-filled day and long, so we actually left that evening, got dinner and a change of clothes - it was freezing - and then went back since the park was open till midnight!
