After leaving NC, we headed south till we hit Savannah, GA around 4pm and we walked around the historic district and ate dinner at a delicious restaurant on the Savannah River: The River House. Howie had a Sirloin Steak with Buttermilk mashed potatoes and I had a Jamaican Prokchop with mango chuntney and sweet potato mash. Dinner came with yummy sourdough bread and the best ceasar salad I've ever tasted! I also couldn't resit getting Creme Brulee for dessert:) We then did a little souvineir and Christmas gift shopping! Afterwards, we went to visit his cousin Charlie who lives 5 min from where we were. It was great for Howie to see him again and for Ellie and I to finally meet him. We left GA a little after 9pm to head back to FL and arrived safely home after 2 in the morning. Mommy and Ellie next to a river boatHere we are visiting Johnson Square. Savannah has several historical parks in the middle of the city with large trees, water fountains and statues.
