Element BBQ

Sunday afternoon, Howie and I slept in and then drove from Orlando to Mom and Pop Nelsons to pick up Eliana. Since Element, our church had no service that morning, we were having a Thanksgiving BBQ and Bonfire that evening. We had a lot of fun, but didn't stay as long as we had wanted because Ellie had the sniffles really bad:( PS: it was cold that evening, it got down in the 40"s!!!

Ellie Loves Morris the Moose!

Krisann bought Ellie this adorable Moose when we were up in DE. It is one of Ellie's crib pals and now that she can really move and stretch and reach - she finds that she can play with the stuffed animal pals in the crib with her:)

Day 2 of Magic Kingdom

On Saturday we decided to go back to Magic Kingdom because there was so much that we didn't get to see and do. We rode Big Thunder Mountain Railroad (pic below), toured Tom Sawyer's Island, finally rode Space Mountain (it broke down the day before while we were in line), rode all the rides: It's a Small World, The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, Peter Pan's Flight, The Mad Hatter's Tea Party Tea Cups (watch video), and Snow White's Not So Haunted House. We witnessed the awesome fireworks at Cinderella's Castle again after the Spectra Magic Parade! (see other videos posted)

Spectra Magic Light Parade

Disney's Magic Kingdom

So, Friday was our second day at Disney and we decided to go to Magic Kingdom. We rode the Disney Ferry across the water to the actual park. We had a blast! We toured Minnie and Mickey's Houses, met them, rode Buzz Lightyear's Fight Against Emperor Zurg, watched a cute 3-D show, toured the Swiss Family Robinson's Tree House, witnessed Jack Sparrow give lessons on pirating and rode the Pirates of the Carribean Ride, floated on the Jungle tour, saw the lighting of Cinderella's castle with Christmas twinkle lights, watched the 'Celebrate You' parade that day and the 'Spectra Magic' light Parade that night! It was a fun-filled day and long, so we actually left that evening, got dinner and a change of clothes - it was freezing - and then went back since the park was open till midnight!

Crosby-Greenawalt Thanksgiving

After spending all day at Disney's Animal Kingdom, Howie and I went back to the Nelsons to pick up Eliana and meet Lindsey and Brandon at our house for our Thanksgiving dinner. It was a relaxing time and we had fun. Afterwards, we dropped Ellie back of at Mom and Pop Nelsons for them to babysit all weekend till Sunday afternoon (the longest I'd ever been away from Ellie) and we drove back to Orlando to check into our hotel!
