Adam as well as Matt also ended up going for a ride with Howie although they wanted no photos taken 'cuz "that would look gay" - LOL! Both Matt and Adam are planning to get Harleys one of these days as well! I guess we'll have to move back to DE so we can all go riding together!

Open House

Sunday, after Ellie's Dedication, my parents hosted an open house for us so all our extended family and friends could come visit with us and hold Ellie. We had a great turn out and enjoyed every single minute with the family! We're so glad so many were able to come and see us:)

Grandmom Smith with Eliana - she predicted that Ellie was going to have dark hair before she was even born...and she was right! She also said Sarah would have a light haired baby, so one of these days we'll see if she's right again! LOL We thought she was confused and meant it the other way around, but she was certain it would be the opposite of what everyone else thought! - Go figure:)

Uncle David and Aunt Alvana came from New Jersey to attend - and of course they brought their Harley so we could go riding together later that day!

Eliana's Second Dedication

Eliana Grace Crosby is so special that she gets to be dedicated to the Lord twice! Hahaha:) We had her dedicated in Florida at our church, but then for family and so my Dad would have the priviledge of performing the dedication, we decided to do it again in Delaware at my parent's church, Bible Fellowship Church of Newark. Among the family and friends able to be there that are not regular attenders at church were: Grandmom and Granddad Goodwin, Uncle Kevin and Aunt Karen, Grandmom Smith, Aunt BJ and Uncle Pete, their two sons, Aaron and Ben, friends Amy and Adam Cain, and Maria and Tyler Andrews and their son, Talan. Thanks for being there everyone! We love you all!!!

Elliah's Birthday Party

On Saturday, we went to my cousin Elliah's Sweet 16th Birthday Pool Party & BBQ! It was African themed - very neat. It was great to see so much of my mom's side of the family and introduce them to Ellie since they hadn't met her before. Below, I am with the Birthday Girl!

Dad Gets to Ride the Harley!

While Mom, Ellie and I went shopping and did girlie stuff, Howie took Dad to an empty parking lot and let him ride the Harley! Dad was in high heaven and was a natural even after all the years that have passed since he had been on a bike! I guess what they say about learning to ride a bike is true - you never really forget how:) Now Dad is on a roll towards getting a Harley of his own!

Back to DE

So here we are, back in DE for the middle leg of our trip. We left NY midnight on Weds and got back in the early morning hours. We will be in DE until Tuesday when we leave to go back up to NY for the Crosby Family Reunion. Here Ellie and I are on Mom and Dad's back porch enjoying the weather and family time: Having dinner with Mom and Dad and Matt and JanineEllie learned to blow bubbles and make noise with them - here she is foaming at the mouth LOL:)

Niagra Falls Trip!!!

Howie decided to take me on a motorcycle ride to Niagra Falls since we were close (say 2 .5-3 hrs) since I had never been there!!! Amy was sweet enough to babysit for us and so we geared up in all our leather and headed out. It was a gorgeous ride and it took longer than we anticipated, so we only stayed in Niagra for about an hour. We couldn't go to the Canadian side since we didn't have passports or enhanced licsenses, but it was worth it!

We really enjoyed our visit, although short - it was breathtaking and loud!!! Of Course we couldn't go to Niagra Falls and not get something for our adorable baby girl - so we looked around the gift shops until we found her a cute onesie. Doesn't she sport it well!?!
