I attend the CWC (Christian Women's Connection) Luncheon on the first Tuesday of every month. Each month we have a different guest speaker, speacial feature, musician and theme. Since it was shortly after the Fourth of July, we were having a patriotic theme and were honoring our servicemen and women of the past, present and future. Pat, aka: 'Mom Nelson' was in charge of the special feature and asked a few veterans, including Howie, to be Guests of Honor and take a few minutes to share their service experiences. It was a fun afternoon - esp. since Howie was able to get off work early to attend!!!
